Here is our fleece wrap which is designed for overnight breathable and comfortable use. We have been making fleece wraps for many years and these have always been side poppering to ensure good breathability and follow the same winning design as our ordinary Multiwraps made from PUL. These fleece multiwraps have PUL gussetts to ensure dryness and tend to come up larger than the PUL multiwraps...hence even more desirable for overnight use. There are three poppers on the waist and three poppers on the legs to ensure good adjustability across the growing range. These are quite generous wraps and Size 1 would fit from around 12 to 18 lbs, Size 2 from about 15 to 25 lbs, Size 3 from about 24 to over 33lbs and Size 4 is hard to estimate, but it is very generous !
We use two layers of fleece throughout the whole wrap to ensure breathability but essentially dryness overnight.
We can understand that the concept of a fleece wrap may be strange for some folks and it was for me too.....I used a Tots Bots Fleece wrap on my daughter 21 years ago and it was great. They stopped making them and we took over.... here is what we found on another nappy website talking about the fleece wrap and the Tots Bots discontinued one...
"These were really popular when my children were small. And I found a couple when clearing out a box. Fleece wraps are not like PUL wraps, they are not waterproof. They are breathable and the idea is that the moisture is wicked away and evaporates. I absolutely loved them and was surprised they were discontinued. They are ideal as a night time wrap over a bamboo or cotton nappy. Unlike wool they need to be washed after every use but they are simple to wash and can go in any cycle with nappies or with other items. ". (courtesty of The Washable Nappy Company).
There should be no need to have leaks at night and essentially if you have enough absorbancy with pleanty of boosters you should be good to go.
